Mogan Mountain, China is tucked away, two and half hours drive from Shanghai. It’s the perfect get-away to reconnect with nature and develop your meditation and yoga. Surrounded by beautiful scenery year-round, the mountain tops here are ideal to deepen your practice. Known for it’s infamous bamboo forests, spend your time on this retreat in China, building bonds and discovering a beautiful part of the east.

We will depart from Shanghai, China
16:00 — take train to Deqing Station
18:30 — arrive to Deqing, we will organize transportation to HE Inn
20:00 - 21:15 — Restorative Yoga | we will be practicing a balancing yoga sequence. To rejuvenate and sweat out toxins followed by deep stretching in preparation for morning practice and the weekend.
21:15 — Rest
Saturday
7:30 - 8:00 — Mindfulness Meditation | tuning into our senses and focusing on mental clarity, stillness and calmness to integrate into your own personal practice and daily life
8:00 - 8:30 — Pranayama | we will develop our breathing practice to energize as well as balance the energy channels within the body
8:30 - 9:15 — Energizing Vinyasa | begin our morning routine with a vinyasa yoga. A yoga series that combines breath and movement, speeds up the metabolism, develops our posture and improves the mind-body connection
10:00 - 11:00 — Brunch | healthy vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals will be provided.
11:00 - 12:00 — Free time | Explore our accommodation, relax, and connect with nature and other yogis
12:00 - 14:00 — Moganshan Exploration | forest hike in Moganshan. We will visit Moganshan Mountain’s famous bamboo forest and see the peak.
14:30 - 15:30 — Lunch | healthy vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals will be provided.
15:30 - 18:00 — Free time | Explore our accommodation, relax, and connect with nature and other yogis
18:00 - 19:15 — Slow Flow & Yin Yoga | building from our morning practice we will end the day with a slow vinyasa and deep stretching to open the heart, and release tension in tight shoulders and hips.
19:30 - 20:00 — Dinner | healthy vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals will be provided.
20:00 — Rest

About the Instructor
Mandy Soetopo
200 RYT Yoga Alliance International Yoga Teacher. Canadian, Chinese-Indonesian and Ukrainian mix with 7 years practice. Coming from Asian and European roots, Mandy approaches wellness through an eastern philosophy of self-sustainment and preventative action. Her personal journey has taken her from Canada, to Thailand, Indonesia, and China.
Her approach to yoga is based on building a deeper connection with the body in each practice and asana. The main focus in yoga is to listen to the body and develop our mental focus, while becoming more aware and understanding the perfect challenge for each unique individual in each pose. This is the purpose to gain the benefits in our practice.

Transportation:
Day1: A private van will be arranged and we’ll be gathering at Deqing Railway Station Exit D at 7.30PM.
Day3: From Lions Villa to Deqing Railway Station.
Accommodation:
Included – 2 nights – Clean double occupancy rooms included in the price. These will be booked on a first come first served basis. If you wish to room alone, the single occupancy fee is an extra 300 RMB per person total. Please note that single occupancy availability is limited to 3. (If needed, we can help you find someone to share. Pairings, in this case, are distributed in order of request submission. If there is an uneven number of travelers, the single occupancy may apply.)

Early bird price before Dec 8th – 2300/person.
Add 200 RMB if booked after Dec 8th
Includes: Transportation to/from to destination, Vegetarian meals as per itinerary (vegan upon request), Guiding & Coaching, accommodation (2 nights, double occupancy), Insurance
Does not include: Personal expenses, fapiao fee, unlisted activities
What you need to bring:
PASSPORT, yoga mat, comfortable clothes for Yoga practice, hiking shoes, long pants and tops that cover your legs and arms (for hiking), swimming clothes in case weather is good for swimming in nature, warm clothes for chilly morning and evening, own toothbrush and paste (more environmentally friendly), drinking bottle to refill water, mosquito repellent, umbrella and raincoats if needed, open mind : )
Note: If your passport is in the visa office for processing, please bring the original slip of paper given to you by the authorities and a photocopy of your passport with you on the trip. This paper can be used for domestic travel instead of a passport.
Cancellation:
– Cancellation more than 5 days prior to the trip departure date, 50% refund
– Cancellation 3-5 days prior to the trip departure date, 20% refund
– Within 3 days prior to the trip departure date, no refund
The schedule may be adjusted due to weather conditions, unforeseeable events etc.
If we don’t reach the minimum of 3 people, the trip will be canceled and a full refund will apply.
